musical seahorse, i love you!

Well, third night home and it looks like we are in for a long night! Little man didn't want to stop screaming for nothing. Just when I thought I tried everythimg , I remembered the musical seahorse. Immediately he stopped crying and currently sleeping skin to skin on my chest! Thank you, musical seahorse - you just may have saved me from a serious breakdown moment! Let's just hope he stays asleep for a little while. Anyone else in for a sleepless night?

    My 4 1/2 yo still sleeps with her seahorse every night. Love those things!

    Me, but not bc of LO but because I had a serious molar infection and had to have a root canal today. The pain is killing me :(

    DS1 had both the seahorse and the glow worm, but always preferred the glow worm. He still, at 5 years old, has his glow worm and sleeps with it every night.

    We have a minnie mouse that plays music, but she wouldnt let me put her down to find it. So I used YouTube and various disney songs and disney song covers.

    I got this sleep sheep from BRU that had great reviews. Yea, she could've cared less about it. I saw the reviews for the seahorse. Maybe I should try that!

    It's a Fisher Price glowing toy that plays music. Not sure if it's white noise or actual music though. I've seen it in the BRU website and amazon. Supposedly works magic on kids? lol

    Another vote for magical... DD would instantly calm as soon as we turned it on. Only used it twice so far with DS, same result.

    We had a long night too. DD did not want to go back to sleep after eating at 2am. DH finally took her and rocked her and let her sleep on him while I caught up on sleep.

    Another great review for the seahorse! I think it is the water noises accompanied with the music that calm him so fast. I put him in his crib and turn that on so I can wash my hands after changing his diaper. He can be screaming and instantly turns into a happy baby looking around the room once that music starts.

    I agree that it needs a longer setting for times that you need more soothing.
