Hey ladies. Are you going to delay introducing solids due to your baby's MSPI? Everything I've read online makes it seem like introducing them too early can lead to food allergies but my pediatrician disagrees.

    Mine said not to worry but at his 6 month visit we'd talk about what to start with first that is the least allergenic.

    We didn't start solids with DS1 until he was 8 months. Even then he didn't put anything into his mouth until 11 months. Then he took off and pretty much eats anything we put in front of him. He also has no food allergies now at 3.5.

    I think you do what feels right to you as a mom. We prefer to wait until the tongue thrust reflex is gone and they can sit up in their own.
