Military Families

medical records

We will be PCS'ing to ILE soon and in the welcome packet it says to bring medical records for all family members. Would that only apply if we were going from MTF to MTF? We are remote right now so seeing civilian doctors. Obviously my DH has his but myself and our son do not have hard copies. TIA!

Re: medical records

  • I always request a hard copy because you never know how long it's going to take for them to transfer.

  • Get a copy, just incase it takes a long time.

  • Okay, I will try. Thanks ladies. I pretty much have copies from the doctors appts but our son was born 9 weeks early and spent 37 days in the NICU. I'm def more concerned about his records than my own. Especially since he will need care shortly after arriving. I guess I've never really had many medical records before all this. Thanks again.
