Baby tears up to mom singing

So I'm pretty sure this video has been seen by most of you on here. The descriptions claim that the baby is so moved by her mother's singing that her eyes well up with tears. While it seems very sweet to think that a baby can be so touched and connected to her mother, I wonder if a baby is truly capable of such a reaction for that reason. Can a baby really be moved to tears in reaction to be "moved" emotionally? Or is there a different reason that baby could ge crying? Granted, she's not outright crying with noise, it's just tears...but the baby did seem to have a pained expressin on her face even before the mom started singing so I wonder. i'm not sure what I believe in regards to the video. What are your thoughts?

    I thought the exact same thing as you OP. The baby looked more in pain than moved to tears.
