Meals

Hey all:)
I'm having a really hard time with my picky eater. She's almost 16 months. What do your kiddos eat for lunch? Maybe examples for a whole week to give me ideas haha

THANKS!!

Re: Meals

  • For lunches we usually do sandwiches (turkey or grilled cheese, she doesn't really care for pb&j). For dinner its usually whatever we are eating, if I know she is not going to eat what we are having she usually gets beef ravioli with a veggie.

  • My girl is sooo tough! I've tried every sandwich under the sun, even wraps, or just broken down sandwiches with piles of meat, cheese, bread ect on her tray and she won't eat it. I've tried those tot meals and she won't eat that. We've tried ravioli, frozen veggies..she won't eat those. The only thing she'll eat is Nutella and jelly, sometimes a grilled cheese (but won't eat it if I sneak veggies in it), or the "natural" turkey dogs :/ I'm at a loss

  • You're definitely not alone on this one!  My little guy is so picky.  Most of the time he won't even put what I give him in his mouth!  Lunch is the hardest too for some reason.  I don't have advice, but I'm glad other people have given me some ideas.  If my DS could eat scrambled eggs with cheese for every meal, I think he'd be happy!

  • That's a good idea about the smoothies! I'll try that:) I'm consistent and always offer her what we're eating, even though it usually ends up on the floor.
