nervous about big purchase for babies

so my mom gave me money to buy our cribs.  i am going to BRU tomorrow to hopefully get the 10% twin discount along with the 20% coupon i have.  i am having so much anxiety about it!!!  i feel like it'll make it real if i get cribs delivered.  and i'm also terrified of jinxing everything.  clothes aren't bothering me as much anymore, but furniture?!  terrifies me.  

luckily that's the only furniture we are buying.  we have a dresser and are using the top for a changing table, and have a rocking chair i just need to get a pad for.  the rest is all regular fun baby stuff.  

anyone feel like this?  i though for being this far along i'd be ok.

    I bought my cribs when I was 28 weeks and felt sick about it! I didn't open them for a couple of weeks...but finally bit the bullet. My MIL came and decorated our nursery this past week and I still feel weird about it and I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow. The anxiety has gotten better, but I don't know why I continue to be a nervous wreck!
    TTC #3 (#1 for DH) since September 2011. DX: Unexplained infertility with possible cervical factor. May 2012 did clomid with IUI - BFN August 2012 IUI #2 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN September 2012 IUI #3 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN October 2012 IUI #4 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN November/December 2012 IVF/ICSI #1 Retrieved 12 eggs, 8 fertilized. Transferred 1 beautiful embryo and 5 made it to freeze. Got my BFP! January 2013 u/s showed empty gestational sac. FET cycle April 2013.  Transferred 2 5 day embryos.  BFP!!!!!  2 heartbeats!!!!  EDD:  12/27/13

    I know I'm not nearly as far along as you but I just wanted to LOOK at a crib from ikea this weekend since we will be driving by. H is dead set on buying it and can't understand my hesitation. It's just way to early for me to be able to talk about actually having a baby, and actually buying something..... I almost feel like an imposter.

    April- Femara 2.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN   May- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
    June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN  August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes
    September- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN  October- 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN
    IVF # 1: Stims 11/30 ER 12/12/12! (10R, 10M, 8F, 2T, 6 F) :: Beta #1- 176  c/p @ 4w4d
    FET #1 February 26th :: Lost 4 to Thaw, Transferred 2 = BFFN
    IVF # 2 Stims 5/10 ER 5/21 (15R, 13M, 13F, 2T, 7F- 6d3 & 1d5) :: Beta # 1- 15 c/p @ 4w
    FET #2 Cancelled, Right Tube Developed a Hydro  8/28 Hydro & Scar Tissue Removed  Cleared for FET
    FET #2.2 Scheduled for September 20th
    2 Thawed, 2 Transferred! Beta #1- 96, Beta #2 906! :: EDD June 10th
    2015- 2 failed FET. We are done
    SURPRISE! BFP 8/8/16   EDD 4/1/17

    I had a panic attack when we painted his room. When you struggle to get here it is hard to embrace the fun things.

    The furniture we wanted was estimated to take 16 weeks to arrive. It was very very scary for us to place our order at 20 weeks. IF brain just takes over. The delivery didn't take the full 16, but it was very close. The timing of its arrival couldn't have been more perfect. I had just started nesting mode! I am now 37+4 and the room is ready to go! Hang in there and stay positive!
    Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

    imposter is an awesome description!!!!  thank god i have this huge belly in front of me or they would think i was delusional. lol

    thanks... that is very true and puts into words how i was feeling.  i've been putting off cleaning out the room and painting it also.  we are down to the wire as my shower is in 2 weeks so will be painting it next weekend and i'm freaking out.

    I think it's one of those things that you really have to jump in feet first. I felt the same way about telling DD, announcing to family, and telling my colleagues at work. Like others have said, it feels like I'm faking and that this isn't really happening. It's the disbelief that makes it so hard to jump in. Then, once you do, it actually feels good. I'm so glad you got a great discount and that you feel great about your decision to go ahead and buy. These babies are really coming! Enjoy the fun that leads up to it. :)
    If  this was our first, I'd be really hesitant, too. When we moved, we stored all the furniture in the potential nursery and closed the door. That was a year ago. I hardly ever went in there. I've just now gotten to the point where I can open the door. Baby steps...

    I am the same. I'm scared to even start the nursery. Yikes. But I'm glad u were able to get the discounts. I'm a coupon queen and love a good coupon!
    TTC Since 112010 Naturally. Diagnose:PCOS(ME) + Low Motility(HIM). Started IVF+ICSI Cycle 12312. ER 27 & ET 210 two embies transferred. *BFN 1ST IVF CYCLE.* **Getting as healthy as possible and will try IVFICSI#2 again hopefully in April.** -- HAVE FAITH; LET GO & LET GOD --
