Can I whine too?

So I've had a cold for 2-3 weeks. It's been rough since E has been sick too, and we are moving this weekend, and we have to keep the house in ship shape since it's on the market and we're having daily showings, and mh has been OOT.

Dang we have a lot going on! Well, now my cold has turned into a sinus infection. I hurt all over, and the left side of my face feels like I got punched by a prize fighter. The sinus pressure is so bad it even hurts to chew. This is the first sinus infection I've ever had, and this is no joke. Owie!

So I'm thinking about ditching work and going home to nap for an hour before our next showing, then an evening of packing. Movers show up at 8 am tomorrow! I don't want to take more time off bc I'm trying to save hours for maternity leave. But I'm in bad shape y'all.

Oh, and E got bitten at school today.

Yikes!

You poor thing. First off - being sick when pregnant = NO fun. Second - having your husband out of town with a LO is also no fun, never mind the house stuff.

I'm so sorry! All of that docks big time! Being sick that long how draining now to mention movin with a toddler. I hope it goes fast tomorrow and you get some rest. I was hoping you sold you house so you didn't have to still do showings. On the positive you will be out of there soo and no more running to pick up! Feel better! Poor E

Definitely have a nap. Showings while moving is no fun, let alone doing it by yourself with a sinus infection, a LO and being pg. Can someone else come and help you pack? Or at least help unpack on the weekend? Or take e for a few hours? GL.

That would be lovely @kaf7. But we don't really have family nearby. Even my best friends are an hour away. Sigh. Big girl panties, here I come. Right after my nap.

I'm all for the ditching of work!! Sounds like you have too much on your plate. Definitely not going to help you get well!! Hope you can find some time to relax.
Are you taking antibiotics for your sinus infection? I've only had a sinus infection once and it wouldn't go away until I got antibiotics.

Are taking antibiotics?? You probably don't want to take anything being pregnant. I had to bite the bullet both pregnancies after my month long cold turned into pneumonia.

As for biting, I am the mother of a biter and I am at a loss. I have tried everything. Poor DS gets bitten by big sister almost daily. Pedi just says its a phase. Le sigh.

Definitely take time off and catch a nap!
