  My husband told me he needed to run an errand, and would be back with J in time for his nap. He apparently did some work for my FIL. He paid him (I'm sure it was a little more than necessary), and gave him instructions to take me out to dinner tonight. My mom already planned on having the kids spend the night. It looks like we are celebrating anyway. DH said he felt really bad that this happened with such craptastic timing.

  Thanks for the birthday wishes. We went to Grissantis. We deliberately tried to keep it kind of cheap. We both had the unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks. I had the tomato tortellini soup I had been craving for a few weeks. Finished off with a complimentary strawberry cheesecake slice for dessert.
