Two Questions

in April 2013 Moms

Totally unrelated to one another:

1.) Fleece sleepsacks - what do you put on underneath them? People have told me a onesie, but my LO seems cold, but I think footed pajamas would make her hot?

2.) Homeade purees - can I freeze them? NOt in ice cube form, can I freeze containers? I made squash today and it yielded a ton!

IVF #1 - July 2012 - Stims start 7/2, ER 7/12, 20 retrieved, 16 mature, 13 fertilized!

1 Blast Transferred on December 15th..... Beta Christmas Eve... Please Santa, bring me a baby!

    1. whatever you feel like she would be comfortable in, I have a fleece halo sleep sack and I put him in a long sleeve onesie when he wears it. If he is wearing a fleece footed pjs then I would just put those on him.

    2. I don't see why not.

    1. DD wears footed PJs in her sleep sack. We keep our house cool, so she's comfortable.

    2. I'm sure you could freeze a big batch, it just might be a pain to defrost if it isn't in smaller packaging.

    If you freeze it all together, you have to thaw it and use it all at once.

    LO wears a light weight sleeper under her sleep sack. The Gerber brand are really thin.

    No help with the PJs. We are in Florida and sleeping in open foot sleepers.

    I got some baby breeza containers on clearance. They hold 1/3c each. I freeze my purées in those. Before seeing those I was going to get mini Gladeware containers.

    Thanks ladies. Like a dumb dumb I would not have realized if I froze it all together, I had to defrost and use it all together. I'll use smaller containers. Appreciate the heads up!
