10 weeks PP, and NOW I get hemmeroids?!

What did you do to treat, heal, prevent hemmeroids? I don't know why they came on all of a sudden, other than I wore a thong on Tuesday... I don't recall really ever having them before, and this time it's definitely uncomfortable to slightly painful. I have tried ibuprofen tonight, have been taking my stool softener again, and drinking lots of water. I just want to feel better (and walk normal!).

    It sounds weird but I used Collinsonia root and it worked for me. Bought it at a vitamin store. I had them REALLY BAD in the few weeks pp. Like crying in pain bad. I read about this herb online and I swear, 2 days later they were much improved. It's worth a shot?

    Thanks for the tip! I put some A&D on them too, and started reading up on high fiber foods. I don't like that my body springs these things on me!

    Me, too! Never had one in my life.. Over 8 weeks PP (and seemingly no poop pronlems) and BAM, hemmy this morning?! Wth.

    I'm in the same boat as you -- fine during the whole pregnancy, then *BAM* hellooooo hemorrhoids!   Stool softeners, lots of water, fiber, Calendula ointment, & Tuck's medicated pads.  Hang in there!!

    Put something to lube before you poop, Vaseline or coconut oil. It helps with the bleeding. Also diet is number 1 for me

    I pushed out a massive colony of them during labor-didnt poo- but an impressive amount of roids. Tucks wipes between the cheeks, coconut oil before every bowel movement and I actually dulcolax until they were pretty healed and then still softener or fiber gummies. I was surprised after a couple weeks they were all pretty much gone. I still use the coconut oil though every time I go when I'm at home

    I take align, a probiotic which helps keep me regular (tmi?) and in turn that helps with the hemorrhoids. I had them so bad after the delivery that the nurses couldn't stop talking about them. Gross. I got a prescription cream and use wet wipes after going to the bathroom. Also tucks help. Seriously hemorrhoids are the worst.

    Thanks for this feedback! I'm thinking about seeing how they are by midweek next week, then maybe seeing the doc? They were slightly better today, but not all gone! Ugh.
