Usually it's about 30-45 minutes. Sometimes shorter though as he cluster feeds a lot, so will nurse for 5-10 minutes stop for the same and keep going for who knows how long!
On average 7 minutes of active sucking although some feeds regularly last 20 minutes plus (before bed). We nurse from one side at a time and LO is 9 weeks.
LO will be 6w on Friday and is EBF. She had been feeding every 2-3 hours for 20-25 up until Sunday. Since then we've been all over the place due to a growth spurt + possible thrush.

Dang I feel like my LO feeds a lot longer than most...do you think its mainly her just using me for comfort
Is she actively feeding during this whole time? When my LO stops sucking for more than a few seconds I unlatch her. If she is asleep and I can't reawaken her, feeding time is done and we burp. If she is awake after burping we will try again. My LO doesn't seem to comfort nurse except maybe once in a while at night.

At 2 months, 20-40 minutes every 2-3 hours during the day (usually 2, I only get a 3 hour stretch if we are running errands and she's distracted). My girl likes to take her time.
It's shorter during the day for us. 10-20 minutes every 2-4 hours (that depends in which side she last nurses, she goes longer after eating from the right). Then at night it's every 2-3 hours, sometimes a quick snack, sometimes longer, depends if its for hunger or to get back to sleep but usually no longer than 10 minutes.
She's 6 weeks and I feel that she's really sped up just in the past few days.
January 2009: Goodbye TR (13 weeks)
February 2010: Welcome DD1!
March 2011: Welcome DD2!
Usually 15 min on one boob...I usually only feed from one side each feeding, but if he seems extra hungry I'll do 10 min on second boob to total 25 min.
Re: nursing question
Same. LO is 5 weeks. I nurse on one side each feeding. She will cluster feed at night, but then sleeps 4-6 hours.
