When the next random (un-close to me) person asks how dilated I am..

I am going to proudly say "1cm! Wanna see my mucus plug!?!?"
And whip out my cell phone.

Seriously. Is that a thing to ask??
In reality, my jaw dropped and I said "... That's a little personal."

But the next person is totally getting the mucus plug line.

Wow, I've never seen that chart before. There is no way my 9+ pound of a son was coming out of a bagel. His head alone measured 97 percentile. I'm feeling thankful for my RCS now.

I told my husband I was 1cm dialated and 80% effaced and he's proudly telling people.

It doesn't really bother me either but I also work in healthcare and with a lot of women. I usually just tell them after my check ups. Last week I was 3cm and 80% effaced and I literally feel like the baby is going to fall out of my vagina! I sort of think those facts and the miserable look on my face buys he a little more sympathy!
