Toddler wants to start breast feeding...

So, my sister recently had a baby and she breast feeds him. My now 22mo DD watches, and has decided that she wants to try it with me (I wasn't successful with it when she was born). She's been grabbing me, trying to take me shirt off and screaming for "mommy milk." Has anyone else ever encountered this problem? How did you handle it?

    I haven't, but my 2 1/2 year old niece has asked my SIL if she can nurse several times after seeing other babies do it. My SIL let her try it. When nothing came out she said, "Where's the milk?" and my SIL said, "I don't make milk anymore. You drink your milk from a cup." and that was that. My niece will ask every now and then and SIL just says, "Remember, mommy doesn't make milk anymore?" She just says, "Oh!" and goes on to the next thing.

    I have heard from other moms that when their toddler asks, they just tell them "they aren't working anymore."  :)
