For those who have not seen this post before it is the weekly get together for anyone due from late December to early February. We would just like to get to know each other a bit before we set up labor buddies for this board!
This is the week!! If you would like to have a labor buddy for this board please give me your due date and if you are having a planned c/s or induction or anything else. If you have a request for a labor buddy please PM me and I will try to match you with that person!! I will ask for due dates for at least 2 weeks (and most likely a few times each week) before I set anything up!
This week's GTKY: Whats your favorite quote/saying? Why?
"Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil." -Gandalf
ZOMG. Labor buddies time! I'm due January 26 [and won't have a repeat c-section, induction or anything like that].
I found this quote after I lost Devon, by E.M. Forster: "We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us." I try to tell this to myself on the really hard days, especially as I near my big loss milestone in a few weeks.

I really love that quote!

Just so I am not the only one without a due date listed mine is Jan 6th
GTKY: My favorite quote is in my siggy "Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil." -Gandalf, Return of the King. I was really hard on myself after my last loss. I kept beating myself up for feeling so lost and upset. I found this quote and realized I just needed to allow myself to grieve because grieving is not a sign of weakness it is a natural part of life. Even tho I am beyond happy and excited about my current pregnancy I still allow myself to grieve my losses when I feel the need.
"Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil." -Gandalf
- Don't judge someone because they sin differently than you. - Promote what you love, instead of bashing what you hate.
I know there are more that I like, I just can't think of them now.

Squeee!! Labour buddies!! (okay, I'm done now lol)
I'm due January 25th. As of right now a c-section is a possibility because of a partial previa, but I'm hoping that it will move up and out of the way so that I can deliver vaginally. We have another u/s in a few weeks to look at the placenta again.
Wow, I can't believe we are at labor buddies already I am due 1/23.
I love quotes and keep a lot around. I like ones from Mark Twain, and this is one of my favorites from him:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream." - Mark Twain
TTC Since 8/2011 BFP #1 5/13/12 * EDD 1/24/13 * MC at 7 wks 4 days on 6/11/12 BFP #2 5/13/13 * Current EDD 1/23/14
I'll be induced on or immediately around Jan. 12. And I simply can't wait!!!
I'm not sure if this counts, but one quote that's really encouraged me is from the Bible, Nehemiah 8:10; "The joy of the Lord is my strength."
It meant a lot because I just... I felt like I had no joy and no strength for quite awhile, but this quote really helped me zero in on what true joy is, and therefore, what true strength is.
Yay! I'm due Jan 31st can't believe we are close enough for labor buddies, holy smokes...
My favorite quote is: If you can't solve your problems why worry about them? If you can solve your problems why worry about them? This puts things into perspective for me, I'm often worrying about things that I have no control over. Sometimes I just need to relax and be as happy as I can.
I am due January 24th and planning on a natural child birth. No induction and hopefully no c-section! I usually have quotes, but with hubby leaving Saturday I am not the most positive person so I am going to pass on that this time. The only positive thing I can say is I am so excited for this LO to be here!
My hubby and I have been together since 2008. Married 5 years in Dec. DX with PCOS and
annovulatory hypothalamus. TTC for baby #2 for 10 months BFP on May 29th 2015
EDD is January 6, although my dr is wanting to induce me at 39 weeks if my cervix is ready because he would like to control when he takes me off of Loxenox.
"Just smile and get it over with" love this quote because its just plain true!
Oh wow, January is coming up fast. My EDD is January 12th, although, it kind of depends on what the peanut decides.
Only quote that's coming to mind ATM is by Gandhi: "Strength does not come from physical capacity, it comes from an indomitable will". I like it so much, it became my first tattoo.
EDD is January 14th.. Though baby is measuring two weeks big so I'm guessing she may come early? Time is flying!
My favorite quote to this day is: "Some people see things as they are and ask Why. I dream things that never were and ask Why not?" - Robert Kennedy
Kind of fitting since I have been dreaming of being a mum for what seems like forever, and even after my loss last year, never stopped. Congrats to you all
I am due January 19th. I am going to try a VBAC. If I do not go into labor on my own, I have a scheduled csection for Jan 23rd. Sorry this is so late...I have been crazy at work!
