I love him what felt so disappointed with the finale.

I was super mad at first, and felt like I grieved for like a day. No joke lol. Then, I rationalized it in my head and made it better. Dex feels like he's going to screw up Harrison's life, and loves him too much to do that. He is punishing himself by living a life of solitude, and having little to no human interaction. He keeps this up for about a year, and then the emotions of missing Harrison and Hannah overwhelm him, so he begins the journey of tracking them down. He finds them rather quickly, and they live happily ever after.
I read several articles, and Showtime told the producers that they absolutely could not kill Dexter, because they wanted to leave it open for a spin-off series.
I'm so annoyed that Deb died, andplusalso that Dexter was a complete moron with the whole carrying her out of the hospital and dumping her in the ocean nonsense. That was just dumb.
