Are Chinese Birth Charts always right?

in 1st Trimester

I am 7 1/2 weeks pregnant, and I have had intuition since even before being pregnant that it will be a boy.

However, the chinese gender/birth chart predicts it will be a girl.

What has been your experience with this?

I will be extremely happy with either, but really leaning towards a boy. :)

    I think they are always right about half the time. 

    FWIW with DS it said girl, this time it also says girl so we shall see.

    Every chart, old wives tale and intuition all said girl.  Guess what- they were all wrong.

    No. First of all, if you check 5 different chinese gender charts they will give you different answers. Second of all, there is nothing that can predict what you will have. Nothing, other than seeing a penis or vagina on an ultrasound or checking the chromosomes of your baby (MaterniT21, Harmony.)

    Also, most of the Chinese gender charts have told me I would have a girl, each time. I'm pg with my third boy.

    Hang in there, I know you want to know and you will in a couple of months!

    Nothing is always right, First.

    Second, the Chinese chart was wrong both times.

    Third, my intuition was right both times. Then again I had a 50/50 shot.

    The only sure way to know the sex of your baby is upon delivery. Even ultrasound guesses have been wrong!

    It was right for both of mine. We shall see with #3, as others have said its a 50/50 proposition any way you look at it.

    For fun, when I first found out i was pregnant, I googled the Chinese Gender Test, and I got tons of results. I did the first 8 tests from the google results (including the one on theBump.com). I got Girl, Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl, Boy. Seriously, every other test showed the opposite gender!

    I think everyone else is correct that they are accurate about 50% of the time. I have a 'feeling' I am having a girl, but I will find out next week when we get our Panorama results.

    This can't be a serious question... can it?
    FWIW, my first was a boy and the chart predicted girl.
    My second was a girl, and the chart predicted boy.
    My third was a girl, and the chart predicted girl.
    Two wrong, one right.
    This time, the chart is predicting boy... but I'm not due until May 10, so we have a ways to go even before my 20 week ultrasound...

    It's true. It works every time. You prob should just rely on that and if the docs tell you otherwise, they are wrong.
