DD just discovered that if she drops things mommy and daddy will pick them up and hand them back to her. So now she grabs and drops everything in sight lol. Also, she learned to wave and give kisses. So much fun.
DD is also saying mama and dada. She's also able to stand for decent amounts of time holding onto something, and when she hears music she starts 'dancing' - she learned this because we are always making her dance lol.
We're getting the wave as well...with his whole arm! He definitely becoming more vocal. I hear mamamamum...but I only think it was intentional once. His favorite sound is Boo. How appropriate! Cruising is in our near future I suspect...
My little monkey is all over the place. She has been cruising for a while now but I have just introduced the walker. She is pulling herself up on it and walking all around the room until she hits a wall. Still hasn't gotten the backing up part down. She just started saying dadadadada (that's her fav) and a few mumumums in there. One of her new favorite things is climbing over her larger toys. Its pretty funny cause she tends to faceplant a lot. She has clapping down but we are still working on waving. And of course she never does any of her tricks on demand. We are staying with my dad while my husband moves us from AZ to VA and I wanted her to show him her new tricks on Skype but she wouldn't do anything. Oh well. I cant believe how fast our LOs are growing up!
Just within the last week and a half he's pulling himself up to stand. He's (trying) to cruise on furniture. I think we're going to have a walker by Christmas.
Also he has now rejected all forms of baby food and will only eat if he can feed himself.

DD finally cut a tooth! It's just barely broken through but it's there. I was starting to think we were going I need baby dentures!
I've lost count of how many words she says. Her pronunciation isn't always great, but she is clearly connecting the words to objects so it isn't meaningless babbling. I had planned on doing sign language, but when I realized how quickly she was acquiring spoken words, it didn't seem worth it.
She's OBSESSED with turning lights on and off. She reaches fr any light switch she can see and she's just so proud of herself when she turns the lights on!
Still no crawling though. She just scoots around in a sitting position. :-p
This month she learned how to crawl very well, sit up by herself, babble, and wave. She's also getting better at self-feeding. If we put a ball in front of her and pick her up, she will kick it like crazy! It's her favorite thing.

new the last 2 weeks has been pulling to stand and clapping hands. He is also waving and making really funny new noises...also in the last 2 weeks he crawls around his crib and tries to stand up in there.
DS just recently learned to clap and also opens the flaps on our Peekaboo Forest book. He is army crawling all over the place and can also go from tummy to sitting and back on his own. DD will make an adorable growling sound when we ask her what a lion says, and she also seems to be saying duck, dog, and possibly cat when we read her an animal book. She can also give sloppy open mouth kisses on our cheek. She has no interest in moving though. Stereotypically, DS is our mover and DD is our talker.

Clapping. He even claps in his sleep sometimes lol.
Also, tipping his sippy cup back so he can actually drink out of it and drinking from a straw (@kleigh926 I was going to suggest this to you since I know you're having bottle and sippy cup issues).
Waving is our new thing. It's whole arm waving, but he's very into it lol. We are full on crawling and pulling to stand, and he is just starting to transfer himself between pieces of furniture while standing. I also think we'll have a walker by Christmas. Yikes!!
DS has just started to crawl within the week!! So cool to see him move around everywhere, esp when he's trying to follow me around. Lol - it's so cool to see our LO's progress, and we all wonder why their sleep sucks. Lol
LO just stood on her own today for a good 10 seconds this morning! Yesterday she started making the mama and dada sounds. Last week she started walking along things and making a piggy face lol. Too cute! Im happy that the babbling is now coming along bc shes be very focused on the physical side.
DS plays peek-a-boo himself (where he takes the blanket and cover and uncovers himself) with people, waving, crawling and he's just downright obsessed with clapping. Literally claps himself to sleep.
Oh, and twerking. Kinda like a downward dog in yoga, but he wiggles his little butt up and down. It would be cuter if it didn't remind us of Miley Cyrus at the VMAs.
We have a tiny Step 2 slide that DD can crawl to, crawl up, and slide down on her tummy without any help. She waves and says "hi" appropriately. When I say "can you say __" she says what I say about 5% of the time. She can put her tiny basketball in a very short basketball hoop and today she has started handing me things. She may be saying "dada" and "mama" but I can't tell if they're in context because she certainly also says them out of context. She can get the "dog" puzzle piece if I ask for it. She loves to walk holding our hands, but her balance is the worst so she barely can move holding onto furniture without falling.
DD lets me clip her nails while she's awake! Lots of new consanate+vowel sounds! She almost says "up" and "bye bye" they don't sound exactly right but she uses them in proper context. You can also add her to the list of new wavers! She'll wave at me in the mirror a lot because I do that to her. She waves back at people who wave at her. She's started to participate at the babies and books group at the library and to watch the story time puppet show afterwards while sitting quietly in my lap. However if things are not progressing fast enough for her she will start to fuss. But she quickly calms down as soon as the music or story starts back up. she's also holding herself up better as she sits, crawls, pulls up and cruises and as she falls. Also, even though they were small she didn't freak out at the last two dogs we saw.
