Depo provera shot

Hi, I'm new to this. My husband and I have just decided to ttc. I'm happy but concerned because I have been on the shot for two years and heard all kinds of horror stories. I'm wondering if there are any women on here who have gotten pregnant after depo and how long it took you or are you still struggling to get pregnant after the shot? Thank you for your responses.

    From my personal experience.. I cant remember exactly how long I was on it but when I got off I didnt get my period for about a year. I was still young and definitely wasnt trying to conceive so I didn't think much of it. If this happens to you I would consider going to get it jump started by your doctor. GGoodluck

    I got my period back two months after stopping but I pretty much had a period on and off for a month straight. After that it went back to my regular cycle. Still not pregnant but that being said it's only been six months and five regular cycles.
