Atlanta Womens Health Group

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has an opinion/recommendation for Atlanta Womens Health Group? I'm looking for an OB/GYN and just haven't heard much about this practice. If you don't know much about this group, do you have a doctor you'd recommend?

    I think Northside/Northpoint OBGYN is part of AWHG. If so, that is where I go. I LOVE Dr. Lewis. Not sure if you care about male vs female but he has been my GYN then OB since I was in my teens. He has also delivered both of my girls and hopefully this third one. Can't say enough great things about him!

    I'm not familiar with that practice, but I go to OB/GYN of Atlanta.  It's next to Northside Hospital, though I believe they have a few locations.  I've had a great experience with them.  They have both midwives and doctors in the practice so you can choose which you prefer.  I had to switch to them in my 2nd trimester because insurance changed at work, so I met with a few over my first visits and settled on a midwife that I really liked.  She ended up being on call when I went into labor, which was a nice bonus.  Once in the hospital, found out LO was breech so I had to have an unplanned c-section, but she stayed with me the whole time.  I really have been very happy with them!

    Really like Dr. Lewis at Northside Northpointe- they share call with AWHG. I see Dr. Marshall at Northside Northpointe and have met all their docs and like them. I've also briefly met some of the AWHG docs while on hospital bed rest(they were on call) and like them as well.

    I go to Dr. Lori Marshall at AWHG and like her and the staff so fat. I'm going there based on a very positive referral. I'm 18 weeks along with my first, so I Have yet to have a true birth experience with them or the hospital. Good luck :)

    I'm at Atlanta women's and I love it! All of the doctors are wonderful. I would definitely recommend them!!
