Where do I belong?

Hi ladies! I used to be involved on this months ago but needed some time away.

Background- I am 27. Went through 6 iui' shot pregnant on the 3rd but it ended in ectopic. After the 6th Iui I decided to take the summer off and wanted to do IVF in the fall. Well the money needed for IVF we don't have and it's completely OOP.


Present time- I'm ok with not doing any fertility treatments and I'm ok if me being a mom isn't in my cards. Would I love to have a family of course! Am I ok only having it just be me and my husband and trips and wine all the time yes.


So my question is- where do I belong if I'm not doing any treatments, I'm dealing with infertility and I'm ok with if I never become a mom? I need a place where your sick of going through treatments, you're upset every month and you're just over it and want to live your life.

    There is a Child Free: Not By Choice board for ladies who are done with treatments, and they seem very welcoming.

    2/13: DH's T went from 190 to 777!
    Cycle 1 1/25/13: Clomid 100mg + Trigger + TI + Progesterone = Ectopic pregnancy
    3/7/13: MTX injections put me on the bench.
    Cycle 2 6/7/13: Clomid 100mg CD3-7 = No response
    Cycle 2.1 Clomid 150mg CD 19-23 + Trigger + TI + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 3 7/21/13: Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #1 + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 4 8/25/13: Bravelle 75-112iu + Trigger + IUI #2 + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 5 9/23/13: Bravelle 75-225iu + Trigger + IUI #3 + Progesterone = BFFN
    Onto IVF - starting injects on Christmas Day

    There's a board called "Child Free: And Not By Choice"...maybe there? I'm not sure, I haven't visited...but it's worth checking out. Are you still trying, even without treatment? If so, I don't see why you couldn't stick around here...just make sure you put a warning in your title if you mention a pregnancy. Just as a heads up for those having a difficult day :-)

    I'm sorry to hear you had a rough journey but I wish you lots of luck.

    Thanks @brittneyandadam! We are kind of trying. I'm not tempting or using OPK's just HIO when we feel like it but obviously not preventing.

    I don't see why not :)  Plenty of ladies who are benched long-term post here, and it's not like you have to be active with treatments to post.  The Child Free is also good, although I know the posts on there aren't quite as frequent.


    Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
    IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
    IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
    Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545  -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
    Camila Josephine arrived 4/30 :)
