Hoping I'm in the right place. My IF diagnosis was prior to my first successful pregnancy after my inability to keep a pregnancy, so I guess that technically means I'm plain old IF not really 2IF. Technicalities right? :) If I'm not supposed to post here just tell me, I can handle it!

A little about us. I am 31, H is 38, and our daughter is 17 months. Before having her I had 4 1st tri m/cs, now after her I'm on my 2nd. My OB has started talking to me about a referral to an RI. He thinks they may be able to find something else with additional testing. One problem is of course the distance since there isn't an RI even semi close to where I live. Maybe I can find an RE that specializes in immunology issues closer and go from there.

Through our current testing we have found the problem 100% is on me, H has everything normal.

Insult to injury I have an identical twin that has two children without issue, and both of my parents come from extremely large families of 11 (my dad's side) and 6 (my mom's side). As all of you I'm sure feel, I so desperately want a sibling for my daughter. I love having multiple siblings (I'm one of 6). In an ideal world I'd have two more children, but I already feel greedy for wanting one more.

    I understand. I'm feeling greedy wanting one more when some will never have one but I want a sibling for my little girl. I love having my sibs to share my life experiences with. Family is forever.

    Sorry for your losses. I also have a DD, and 2 boxers. So you're ok in my book. 


    Good luck. I feel you on wanting your LO to have a sibling. That's the only reason I keep moving forward, when I sometimes just want to throw my hands up and say eff it all. It's hard, and overwhelming, but this is a small group full of extremely supportive ladies, so I hope you can find some comfort here.

    Thanks guys for the welcome!

    freakyfast I was having a bad day yesterday when I put that in my siggy! I had no intentions of keeping it up, my mama claws came out. I'm overly protective and sensitive of my one and only.

    Mrs Castillo I had two! My other one passed away shortly after my DD was born. Awesome breed.

    No explanation needed here. We are all protective of ours.  I just thought it was very refreshing to see.  Most on this board I am certain did not mind it.  We are a fun bunch.
