CPW: Counting

When counting with your fingers, which finger do you start with?
I have short term memory loss. Do not take it personally if I do not remember you right away.
No longer trying to conceive at all.

    Really? It's super long but I love that movie. I just asked because it's talked about in the movie. I always start with my pointer finger and 5 is my thumb.

    I do this, too.  If you start with your thumb, it gets progressively harder to get the next finger up.  By the time you get to your ring finger, it's downright painful!

    It's something to do with the tendons I think.  If you put your hand flat on the desk and try to lift only your ring finger, it is really hard!

    I am a "thumb is #1-er"...I never tried it the other way. 

    Of course I am trying it now.  It's so weird for me!!!!!!

    That's immediately what I thought about too!  Lol.  LOVE that movie.

    I voted SS.

    Really I use my index as number 1,

    BUT medically counting the thumb is number 1, so at work I count thumb as 1. Home index is 1.
