Rec your yoga pants

My post partum uniform is yoga pants/sweats, a nursing tank and a zip up hoodie for the first few weeks. Definitely not glamorous, but very functional. Thing is that I don't have any yoga pants that I love and am thinking of treating myself to some. I'm looking mostly for comfort, but them being cute would be a big plus! I likely won't spend more than $50, but go ahead and give any price range and maybe I'll splurge!

TIA!

Re: Rec your yoga pants

  • Currently loving my Old Navy (maternity) ones. I think they'll work great postpartum as well. They fold over so don't look like they're maternity.

I really like my victorias secret yoga pants.  They're pretty inexpensive, and I could get them in a shorter length, which I needed.  I've been able to wear them pre-pregnancy, post-pregnancy, and am still wearing them as pj pants now, so they allow for a lot of variation in waist size!

    ETA: I have the v-front pants... they're currently 2/$55
  • I got a couple of pairs from Aerie (American Eagle's sub brand) right before I got pregnant. Check the AE website -- I ordered online. They actually still fit now (though the thigh is a bit snug). They're comfy and have the fold over band in different colors and patterns...I'm sure I'll be living in them postpartum for a while.

  • I have lulus and some from target. They are both really comfy but lulus are expensive. Walmart sells comfy ones to but I don't know how much they are

  • The absolute best yoga pants are made by So Low. It's the only brand I wear. They're not cheap, but they're so worth it, and you can usually find good ones on sale. I'm still wearing the ones I wore pre-pregnancy and will wear them after. Their site is solowstyle.com.

  • I love the ones I have from Motherhood. The are soft and oh so comfy! I think I plan to live in them for the next two months!
  • I love the Liz Lang from target ones. I like that they aren't thin so don't show every bump and ripple!!
  • I seriously still love my forever21 yoga pants. I got them one size larger than pre-preg and they are so comfy and long. I got them a while ago but they have a foldover top and flared leg.

Totally agree, I love these.  I also have their non-maternity ones (from pre-pregnancy), and really like those too if you're looking for ones that don't cover your belly.

  • I think i'm going to buy a couple pairs of VS sweat pants and yoga pants.  The sweat pants are usually really long though which is annoying, but for wearing around the house it doesn't matter.

  • Gap or VS. Both are super comfy and cute!
  • Right now I'm wearing Liz Lange yoga pants and I love them. They're the only pregnant ones that I like.

HOWEVER- pre-pregnancy and postpartum, I will be back in my Zella yoga pants and leggings.

Zella is one of the Nordstrom house brands. The head designer used to be the head of Lulu Lemon...they're very similar I actually prefer the Zella pants over Lulus.

They're at the top of your budget (I actually think they're $58) but they're worth every single penny. I've had my oldest pair for 2 1/2 years and they still fit and look the way they did when I bought them.
  • Hands down, the absolute best pair of yoga pants are Lululemon Wunderunders (yes they had a see through issue last spring but they fixed it and replaced everyone's free of charge no matter how old they were). They run about $70 a pop but you can always find discounted ones on their website under the "we made too much" page! Every pair I own look brand new, never fade, never pill! And I can't wait to fit back into them.

  • I only do lulu yoga pants as they are the only brand that have a long enough length for me. I despise a leg that's too short.
I hate that they are so expensive - but they do last a loooooong time.

  • So glad I asked! I hadn't even heard of some of these brands like Zella & SoLow. I may go and buy some cheaper ones myself and add a lulu or zella pair to my Christmas list!
