Shaving post c-section

I'm 3wks pp and at my apt last week the nurse suggested I wait a little longer to shave the hair that's grown in above and around my incision. I am in a wedding this weekend and really don't want anything hanging out when I change into my dress in front of the other girls (I've always shaved everything). I'm tempted to shave but don't want to irritate the incision.

When did you shave??

I finally shaved that part for my 6 week check up. It was a little sensitive but I am sure I didn't need to wait that long. Is your incision healing nicely?

I shaved right after I was allowed to remove my incision tape...two weeks I think. I was fine!

Did y'all shave any of the areas below the incision any earlier than a couple weeks? Luckily I shaved on Friday, right before we went to the hospital. But 4 days post c/s I am ready to at least shave something and feel somewhat normal down there!

I plan on shaving below the incision because I want to feel normal, but I can't imagine bringing a razor anywhere near the scar at this point. It's still really tender.

I shaved once I was able to take the tape off but I didn't shave over the incision. I've always shaved everything as well so it was driving me bonkers!

I am 5 weeks out and the thought of shaving is still scary. I am sure I will get the courage to do it before my PP appointment next week.

I shaved below the incision at like 5 days after.... I couldn't stand it but because I had an infection setting in while in labor because my water had been broken for too long I now have an infection in my incision so I'm not going any where near it ! I am paranoid every time I even go to the bathroom and am going to the doctor every two days to keep an eye on it... But as soon as it feels better and isn't so tender I'll be shaving again

I shaved mine around a week after. I was very careful and gentle but it was fine.

I'm a wild beast right now. It's driving me nuts but I don't shave (sugar waxing every 4-6 weeks). Once I go to my 6 week checkup, I'm booking a sugaring!
