My mom called me last night to ask what she could put on christmas present tags for the baby. I told her that I have yet to nickname this one. Last time I walked around calling the baby "joey". This time I am way too scared to do anything like that. I am still waiting for my second appt to be absolutely excited. I have had one great appt with a 180hb, however after reading all sorts of posts from other people I havent seen another one that is that high (that sorta freaks me out!) In the end she decided to put on the tag, Scerin, Scott and Erin combined. Nice mom real nice!

We don't really have any nicknames for our baby, although my sister and BIL have been calling the baby giraffe (both my DH and I are tall and they think we're going to have a huge baby!).
Also, I don't think 180 bpm is high for a heartrate, the h/b for our baby has been like that several times. It has slowed down a little since, now it is around 160-165 bpm when I use the doppler.
Don't be worried about the HB. Ours started out pretty high too. At my last appt the nurse told me that the HBs always start out high and get lower as the baby grows. Our baby's HB was around 167 at 7 weeks and now averages around 145-155. And at 180, you fall within the healthy range. I'd be more concerned about a low HB!
I don't have any nicknames, but just wanted to share that with you.
We have a name for this baby and I still just call her "she" or the baby. We had a cat growing up named Emily, so I kind of feel like I'm talking to/about the cat instead of the baby if I call her Emily.
Although, if she's kicking a lot, I do call her Miss Lady Jane, which is what my mom called my sister and I if we were getting out of hand.
the h/b is supposed to be really high for you now... here were mine:
?
h/b at 6wks 5days = 120-130h.b at 9 weeks = 184?
