If one won't do it...recommend a stroller combo

I have a Snap N Go with slightly bigger wheels, and I love it.  We use it for everything--even hiking.  I need to get something when LO outgrows the infant carseat...maybe 2 somethings...
We:
a) walk around the neighborhood that has bumpy streets and will be snowy sometimes every day
b) drive to a paved path to walk 1x/week
c) hike on a hiking trail that we drive to 1x/week
d) go to a doctor's appointment in a large building 1x/month
e) go to the zoo or various other things 1x/month
I drive a Prius.  Help?

  • An air tire stroller will make a big difference for hiking and even walks on uneven sidewalks.  The Bumbleride Indie is nice as is the BOB Revolution.  The Uppababy G-Luxe is very well liked as an umbrella stroller too or you could get something more full featured like the Baby Jogger City Mini or Valco Snap.

After I typed that I thought of 2 do it all kind of strollers - the Baby Jogger Versa with GT wheels (purchased separately) or the Valco Snap 4 with air tires (also purchased separately).  Either of those could be a great solution.

  • City Mini GT is a small all terrain that would likely meet all your needs.

  • Look at the Valco Snap. I have the dual (double) but that stroller was amazing navigating the terrain at the pumpkin patch last weekend. I bet it's really great with air tires.

It folds flat and opens easily without your foot in one step, is lightweight, reclines, has a great basket, and canopy.

I also have the G-luxe and like it a lot, especially for travel and city use.

  • would go with the City Mini GT over their regular one. Both are light weight compared to some of the others. Bob has a silmilar with 4 wheels that you'd probably want to consider as well. As others said, Valco has a few options. Don't know about snow though.

  • Oh yea the BOB Motion could be another all in one option.  City Mini GT also but I would personally get the Versa over the City Mini GT if it was me because I like that it can parent face.
