We moved when the babies were 12 weeks old, and now we live a good 90 min from my RE (without traffic...and we live in ATL, so there's ALWAYS traffic). Trying to decide if I should use my old RE office (my RE left the practice right before my IUI), or find a new one. If you used the same RE, what tests/consults did they make you do the 2nd time around? TIA!
I did not use the same RE but I had a bad experience with my first RE.
Regardless of whether you switch it should not matter what testing you have to repeat. Genetic/dna should not have to be repeated as it does not change. Hormonal testing (fsh, estradiol, etc.) will likely be redone unless it is only a few months old. Generally, they make you redo communicable disease if it is greater than a year. I think hsg, sa, varies from office to office and depending on if there was an Issue or if chichild bibirth in between. That is my experience anyway.
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54
2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12

Yeah, I figured I would have to do all the bloodwork again and DH would have to do another SA. Hoping I don't need another HSG, but that's just because I'm a giant baby and had horrible cramping after my first one. ;-) (I never get my period, so cramps are foreign to me)
I am using the same RE but I had to do another HSG because "something" had been in there for 9 months. Maybe you could call and ask what they'd typically have someone redo? I'd def be interested in someone closer given your situation.
We use the same RE. I had to repeat my bloodwork and have a saline sonogram done. DH didn't have to do anything but that's because we were going back for a FET.
I had an amazing experience so went back to my same Re. Had to do all my same bloodwork. X-rays and sono with ink again before we could start. Some times I have to go to he office hour from home depending on the day but well worth it for trust in someone.

I am using the same RE. The only thing DH and I had to repeat was our infectious diseases b/w, and my prolactin and TSH b/w. I am sure it's different for IUI vs. IVF.
Re: 2nd timers, did you use your old RE?
