It's Emmitt The Pom Day in Heaven! **Pic Added**

My dear sweet dog, Emmitt, passed this morning quietly as I stroked his head. I got up around 8am to feed Alex & check on him with the heater.

I told him good morning & today was his day to cross the Rainbow Bridge. That Dad would be waiting for him with lots of yummy chicken. That he could be free of disease, pain & have perfect balance. He would have all his teeth & no one would ever hurt him like they did in this life.

He tried to move his paw & move his mouth, then he was gone. I hope he wasn't in any pain. A blessing is that he got to go at home. The vet always stressed him out really bad. I was dreading the euthanasia appointment today, honestly. So I'm happy he had his last moments safe, warm & loved at home.

I'm sad, & wish his little life had been easier. However, since he came to live with us he's had all the love, treats & cuddles that he could get. We had 4 years of memories & I will see him whole, n' happy when I get there.

Thank you for all the love & support. I don't know what I'd do without my lovely bump ladies.
