I had some serious pimple issues in the first tri but thankfully those went away. But now my skin has turned very sensitive, prone to redness and dry. I have almost scaly patches around my mouth and on my eyelids of all places! That's a new one for me. What the heck?? For now I'm keeping up with my standard Olay+Philosophy regiment but I'm wondering if I should change something up. How is your skin and how have you been taking care of it if you're having issues.
Re: How is your skin?
Now, my hands are a different story. I have those red scaly patches between my fingers. No amount of lotion has been able to moisturize it enough. If you figure out something that works, let me know!

My chest, arms, belly, and back are covered in what my OB says is cholasma. But it's backwards. Instead of darker spots, mine are pale. My skin is dry and a little itchy but I lotion with the cocoa butter variety of Vaseline lotion twice a day and that really helps. I still wear scarves A LOT though because I feel like everyone must look at these spots and wonder what's up.

Wow I guess the hormones are doing a number on a lot of us - interesting that different people have different problems. Good luck to everyone to getting their zits under control. It's annoying
I'm nervous about using something super oily or rich on my face to get rid of the flaky dryness in case it causes me to break out but I guess I have to start experimenting.
@bluegreeneyes11 - not to scare you but I would have a derm take a look at it. I got something like that on the tip of my nose during the last pregnancy and they had to have it tested for being a staph infection because apparently the nose is a common area for it to manifest (and I had a history of having several staph infections which started as zits and progressed to lesions on my torso). It ended up being non-staph (thank god) but it was so persistent and painful that eventually she gave me a cortisone shot on it.
