First Ultrasound - good news!

I posted last week about being anxious about my first ultrasound yesterday. I was a nervous wreck, thought I was going to be sick in the waiting room, I just felt like it was going to be a repeat of my experience with our mmc.
BUT we got good news! Baby measured 6w4d and a heartbeat - 130 bpm! I know we have a long way to go, but this was a big deal for us so it was nice to take a tiny breath and know everything is ok so far.
I have a tiny cyst on my right ovary that has been causing pain - my midwife said it was most likely a corpus luteum cyst and was fueling the pregnancy but should resolve itself in a few weeks. Anyone have experience with this?

ETA: EDD is June 20!

    yay for a great US!  I had a CL cyst with my first pregnancy...felt a lot like light period pain at the time...now I believe I can tell the difference, a little sharper.  As my OB described a CL cyst is a really good sign...it gives the baby nutrients maybe...something like that.

    Congrats!!  I had a CL Cyst as well - by my 7 week ultrasound it was resolving itself and by 9 week had disappeared completely :-)  I had slight discomfort with mine but nothing major...

    I also had a CL cyst on the ovary I ovulated from.  It has cleared up at this point.

    Thanks for the response! It's definitely a sharper pain for me. I had myself worked up that it was going to be something awful, so I was relieved it was a cyst. My midwife said something similar - that it was a good sign and was supporting the pregnancy. I'm just hoping things keep going well!
