TTC after 35

TTC @35+

Hi I'm on my second round of Clomid at 50 mg. I did not ovulate last month or this month according to the OPK's. Has this happened to any of you? Obviously Clomid isn't working

Re: TTC @35+

  • This is really a question for your doctor, but if you're not being fully monitored (multiple ultrasounds throughout your clomid cycle) and the doctor giving you clomid is just your GP or an OB, you need to run fast and far from them and seek a specialist/RE who actually knows what they're doing. Clomid is a dangerous drug and you shouldn't be left wondering if you're ovulating or guessing if clomid is working, anyone reputable who prescribes clomid should really be answering the ovulation question for you.

  • gscoville has said..... your tubes might be blocked your partners sperm might not be good... there are so many reasons why Clomid might not be working and why you are not being successful.  PLEASE GET PROPER TESTING and PLEASE find a doctor who will do it the right way!

You have a 6 cycle lifetime max on Clomid... why waste any of them without doing it properly?  not to mention the horrible side effects to your health it can cause. Be your own advocate!

    Good luck
