Of course I told DH yesterday because of the pee stick getting darker. I took a FrER at 3am because I couldn't sleep it didn't come up darker but lighter. Then after crying my eyes out thinking this is a chemical pregnancy I took another one at 6am and it kind of came out darker.. At least darker then the last one at 3am. How in the world does this make any sense?

I wouldn't read so much into the pee test since you could have a defective one. 3 hrs between test shouldn't have given you a darker test after a lighter test so I'm going with the sticks are wrong! Hun I know you have been threw a lot and I'm really rooting and praying for you! Back away from the tests and breath. I know it's hard but try and be happy today because today you are pregnant and it sucks to worry constantly about an outcome unknown for now. When is your beta?

It can take 48 hours for HCG to double and your pee probably wasn't as concentrated/or the test had less dye. HPTs aren't meant to judge whether your HCG is going up or down, just whether or not it is above their HCG threshold. The darkness of the line may or may not mean anything.

I would try to keep the testing down to once a day (FMU). The fact that you are getting positives that early after holding your pee for only a few hours is pretty freaking amazing.

Step away from the pee sticks lady!

First off...throw out every Wondfro you have. They are unreliable in early pregnancy and will drive you crazy trying to see if the line is darker or lighter. I think the differences in manufacture on the wondfros is too vast.

The most reliable in my opinion is the FRER. Try to stick to FMU if you can. But POAS is a sickness. Once you start getting two lines you cant help but pee on things.

((hugs)) I agree with everything said above. Try to stop beating yourself up! I know that's next to impossible when every single thought has been consumed by IF the past two years. Like PP said, throw away the Wondfos, and stick to FRER once a day with FMU. I hope your beta is soon so you don't have to keep hanging like this much longer! ((hugs))

Thank you ladies that does make sense. I only have one frer left so tomorrow morning ill do it. Never thought the 3am would be lighter with the frer since that was fmu. Now my heart is in my stomach.

I agree with pp's. And we all know that in this IF world we have to look for silver linings. I actually told this to our embryologist when he called to tell us that even though one of our 3 remaining embies made it to a blast that was actually hatching he didn't think the blast would survive freeze/thaw. So I told him at least we know the slow ones made it, so I have hope for the two lil morulas which were good developers.
Your silver lining is there is a line there!! So it's still super early just hang on, no more POAS and relax.

I went crazy testing twice a day when I finally got that double line, and there was definitely variation is the darkness. I won't tell you to stop testing, b/c it can be nearly impossible when you are worrying like I'm sure you are, BUT- I will say there is definitely hope that it's not just a chemical, and that you will have a good number when you have your beta. FX for awesome things to come!!

I agree with PPs - I did it for quite a while (actually still am after my scare and because of lack of symptoms), but I make sure to do it at the same time everyday. And I agree with staying away from the Wondfos....I had a panic attack with some a couple weeks ago, but the FRERs were clearly positive when there wasn't a line in sight on the Wondos. DH made me throw them out. I know how hard it is to no POAS, case-in-point right here, so no worries if you continue to do it. Just try to keep it on the same schedule :-)

@futuremrsw9 I wish I would have known this sooner. I heard so many stories about wondfos being super sensitive, so I used them to test out my trigger and kept getting all these super faint evap looking lines. This morning pretty much no line. Then I dipped a FRER to confirm my BFN and low and behold a second line, definitely pink and definitely within the 3 minute time frame, and not even a squinter.

Ditto everyone else, wondfos suck!! I was getting lines on FRER 4dp5dt and nothing really noticeable on wondfo until about 7dp5dt. If you're gonna POAS it needs to be the same test.(FRER) at the same time every day. I really think the 3am test threw it off for you! If you're still getting lines then I wouldn't worry. I am sure you're fine :-) but.I know how nerve wracking this is! (((Hugs)))

I only have a second to write and I didn't read previous posts (yet) but at this point you're not testing your pregnancy- you're testing how diluted your pee is

So, you're going to get different results because you drink different amounts of fluids

No more than 1 per day- same time every day

I know how worried you are- but everything at this point is out of your control. I know its scary- but we all are praying for this and hoping it happens. It's all we can do.

I agree with the post regarding testing how diluted your pee is. Even after my first beta came back at 59, I continued to test for the next couple of days, trying to see if the lines got darker to try and gauge if my beta was rising or not (not very scientific, I know lol). I came up with a negative test a few days after my beta just bc I was drinking too much water. It gave me a heart attack though, I thought for sure it was a CP. Wasn't the case though, thank God.
