probably only if my niece and nephew come over and go around by us...they're 9 and 7....so it won't look like we're just going around with a baby just to get our own candy or we'll just take her by my mom's friends that live near by so they can see her....
No, we are just handing out candy and the grandparents are coming over to see DS in his costume. I just don't want to take him out since he cannot actually eat the candy yet. Plus he goes to bed anywhere between 6 and 7pm.

Absolutely not. It seems weird to take a baby TOTing, unless the baby has older siblings or something. She is dressed up right now for our Moms Club Halloween party this morning and tomorrow I will dress her up so we can hand out candy.

Yes, but I am taking DS1, and he will be the only one with a bucket and collecting candy. We did not take DS1 around at 8 months old his first Halloween. Last year was the first year we took him around the block bc he really got it.
Unless I know you and want to see your child, I will side eye anyone who comes to my door with only an infant and holds out a bucket asking for candy.

This is my feeling as well.
Our neighborhood isn't really conducive to trick or treating (no sidewalks or street lights, kind of rural feeling) so we won't have any trick or treaters. We will either go to the mall for the Disney party or go visit with friends.
Sort of. I usually go to my sister's and walk around with her and my nephews. We'll be doing the same this year and I'll push LO in the stroller. So he'll be going out but not really TOT.
Yes we will be going out--as long as the weather is not absolutely miserable(which they are forecasting it to be). But it will be more so to show off DS's costume. AND we are only going to go to our two next door neighbors and the house across the street. TOR is more for the parents at this age to show off a LO's cute costume than it is for the LO's at this age, in my opinion.
@privacywanted - I didn't see the previous post so I apologize if you already answered this, but I'm just curious what's in the "bad candy" bowl? I'm picturing Mounds fun size bars and black licorice.
Not officially - I'm going to put DS in his costume and take him to my brother's, parents', a friend's, and DH's last work obligation of the day (it's a church choir rehearsal, old ladies loooove DH and DS, haha). Oh and, I love Mounds bars and black licorice, more for me, haha!
We were having my parents over for dinner and passing out candy (we do that every year) and then taking DD to a few neighbors houses. The weather is now supposed to be really bad so we are taking DD to our church for ToTing so my parents and some of our friends can see her in her costume.
