i've been "stressed" about this, too. I love the holiday, but i don't want my kid to hate it or feel like their birthday is always halloween focused. i'm supposed to have prostaglandin gel placed that morning as well, and asked to have it earlier, but no appointments were available. i feel your pain!
I'll see you there! Lol. I go in tomorrow night... Both my husband and I are Christmas babies and yeah it sucks. And now we are gonna have a Halloween baby... Here's my 2 cents worth lol: just make it special for them no matter what. We will always celebrate our sons bday special. Was thinking we can make it work. If he wants a Halloween theme we can do that but if he doesn't we won't. It'll be his birthday and Halloween not Halloween and his birthday if that makes sense...

Good luck!!!!
at least you got pushed back a bit!! they were pushing for a c-section today but they consulted with the high risk Dr and agreed to wait it out a bit. still nervous though!
Looks like I will have a Halloween baby as well. I wasn't sure how I felt about it either, but I figure a little boy will think it's pretty cool and an adult won't care one way or the other. The themed parties and time of the year is perfect though. I would have picked Friday, but Thursday was the only day my doctor could take me besides today and I wanted to give baby all the time I could to come on his own.
My due date is Halloween and I was totally looking forward to him having a Halloween birthday. Alas.....my body would have to do some major work for it happen though. Anyways, it isn't what I would consider a "bad" holiday to share with a birthday.....like Christmas....where it would steal the "birthday thunder".
I personally would not want my bday on Halloween and I was a little worried LO would come late and be born then. I think birthdays need their own special day but that's just me. It really doesn't matter, I feel like its kind of up to fate when babies come, even with induction so I'm sure you will make the best of it either way! Good luck!
My BIL is a Halloween baby and he loves it! Every year we do a costume party for his birthday and the boys always put so much thought and planning into their costumes, it's a huge thing for them. At least Halloween isn't a gift giving holiday where they can get lumped together that way
I'm a Halloween baby and I always thought it kicked ass. As a young kid, My friends would come in for a bit of cake on their trick or treat route, parties are already pretty much planned, and when you're older you get to just go enjoy someone else's party altogether. Plus who doesn't want their birthday to center around candy?
I think a Halloween bday would be so much fun! I know two people born on Halloween and they loved it growing up. If I had gone late, my fingers were crossed for Halloween. So I say go for it!
Re: Do i want a baby born on halloween?
