Fall photo shoot ideas for baby

Hey ladies. This topic has nothing to do with "Working Mom's but I don't care because this is my favorite board with the best suggestions! I have a professional photographer friend coming over on Sunday to take some 3 month pictures of our DS. He's at a point where we can get him to smile on command 90% of the time, but I'm struggling with ideas for "props" or positions for him. We live in the south so we're still able to shoot the pictures outside (probably in our yard). Does anyone have any links to cute photo sessions or photographers that specialize in babies? Or do you have any suggestions or ideas that you've seen that you thought were cute? Thanks

Re: Fall photo shoot ideas for baby

  • Bring bubbles - DS loved them and they looked fantastic in the shoot. If you are shooting outside - fallen leaves, a few pumpkins, a wagon and hay would all look really nice. We put DS in a pumpkin (you can find similar pics on pinterest) and that was really cute too.

  • Pinterest is a good idea, I can browse on there. Love the bubbles idea too. It's kind of hard because he's too small to crawl around and interact with things, but too big for the traditional sleeping newborn pose (he's a light sleeper). Thanks for the ideas!
  • propted up on a bale of hay
    in a radio flyer wagon
on bale of hay surrounded by pumpkins, Indian corn, dried corn stalks

  • Pinterest is awesome.  Another cute idea could be to get a basket and put a blanket in it to make it nice and comfy for your lo.  Then cover the blanket with leaves (real or fake) to make it look like he is in a basket of leaves.

  • Put your LO in a giant pumpkin. I've done it for 2 years. Makes the cutest pic.
