What I do wrong vs. What I do right.

I think one thing I've struggled with since becoming a mom is finding something POSITIVE to say about myself since being mom. I am the first to admit my downfalls: I lose my patience, I wonder if I'm good enough, I get stressed too easily, I accidentally pulled her skin off of her nail, I let her cry for too long, I feel like I'm doing it all wrong,

I've never took the time to stop and look at what I'm doing right. This video (<- clicky) put a lot into perspective for me. I know our LO's can't speak, but it made me feel a lot better about myself and to actually stop and think about what I'm doing right for her. I think as moms we are all too hard on ourselves, and we need to give ourselves a break. We aren't perfect, all we can do is do the best we can. Our kids don't see our "downfalls" like we see them. To them, it just matters that they are loved.

I just wanted to share this because I don't think I'm the only mom in the world who just focuses on my negatives instead of the positives, too.
