Hi all- I lurk and learn a lot from your experiences. My daughter is 9 weeks old, and the Ped. has no concerns except she doesn't lift/turn her head while on her tummy much. So I've been trying to be more proactive re: tummy time (which she just about hates): "flying," sit-ups with her on my knees, etc. We try to stick to the Baby Whisperer's EASY routine, and it generally works for us, but I wonder if I'm doing the Activity part correctly: I feel like I hold/wear her pretty constantly, which I'm not sure is ideal for independent play and, by extension, physical development. Though she has strong neck and upper back control, she's not close to rolling over- could this be because I'm not giving her enough "her" time? Between feedings and naps, what does your "typical" routine look like- carrying, engaging, toys, etc.? I appreciate your taking the time to respond if you can.

or you're all the way grown,
my promise to you
is you're never alone.
You are my angel, my darling,
my star...and my love will find you,
wherever you are."
Sounds like you are doing everything you can. Every baby is different.
