Angelcare and wedge?

I have heard the praises of the Angelcare monitors and intend on making the purchase ... However our DD needs to sleep on an incline for her reflux. The product description requires a "flat surface" ... Has anyone had any experience with the wedge and monitor combo? I don't want to waste money on something that won't work with our need to sleep at an incline! Thanks in advanced

I don't have any experience, but it is VERY sensitive, and I can't see it being an issue.

The sensor itself needs to be on a flat service, but that doesn't mean the baby has to be. It's ridiculously sensitive. When our LO is sleeping you can just BARELY see her breathing but it still picks it up. Even when she shimmies to the edge of the mattress (so no where near where the sensor is) it can still pick up her breathing.

I DEFINITELY recommend it for peace of mind. Even if it doesn't work with her on an incline (which I'm almost positive it would), she won't need a incline forever. It's probably the best investment I've made as far as non-essential baby gear goes. I have super bad anxiety about SIDS and with LO rolling over on her stomach in her sleep I just about lost my mind. I can actually sleep now instead of staring at her all night.

Hopefully someone else has had some experience with a wedge and the monitor though. Sorry I can't be of more help

I have a wedge and sleep positioner in the crib with the AngelCare monitor. DS also has reflux. Works perfectly. I have tested is at least 100 times (I know I'm crazy) and every time it would stop alarming with only the palm of my hand touching it on top of the wedge. Just becareful if you have a fan in the room. It can trigger the sensor, that's how sensitive it is, to think baby is breathing. Just test it with and without and adjust the sensitivity setting accordingly. And you might not be able to have your mobile attached. But I do agree that it is an amazing tool for piece of mind if it is set up properly and tested to your individual surroundings. Hope this helps!
