Cytotec for miscarriage

Hi there. I am 8 weeks pregnant and am going through my first miscarriage. I just got home from the doc who prescribed Cytotec. I just inserted it and now I wait. Anyone else use this? How long did it take? How bad was the pain?

    There are many stories of Cytotec on here...I did it 5 weeks ago for a m/c I had around 7 weeks. I had no pain, no cramping at all but a TON of blood and giant clots and I'm STILL bleeding from it. I had a very easy experience with it besides all this lingering bleeding. Just try not to leave the house for a few days...things can get really messy. I have fairly light periods so all that blood wsa pretty shocking to say the least. There are a lot of good success stories with it though:) Sorry you're going through this!
