Rough time

So I've been on bed rest for a week and it really is putting a strain on my relationship. I'm not the kind of person to sit and do nothing and my boyfriend works nights and we've been getting upset with each other the past couple days, has anyone else had some problems? Will it eventually get better?

What have you been getting upset with each other about? Is he not helping you at all? Bedrest is certainly a very stressful situation for everyone, but your bf really needs to support and understand what you are going through!

Does he go with you to your appts so he can understand the importance of Bedrest for the baby? Thankfully I don't see you on Bedrest too long but in the meantime he needs to just suck it in and understand your not being lazy its prescribed from your dr.

Hang in there. I've been on hospital bed rest for a month and we've been snippy with each other more the past week. I know it's been hard on DH because we have a toddler at home and he's like a single dad. I feel guilty asking him whenever I need stuff from home, laundry done or things pulled out of storage for the new baby. I can tell the situation is wearing on both of us. And home end rest would be worse- at least in the hospital there are people here taking care of my food and immediate needs. Just try to be patient with each other, try and make sure he understands why you're on bed rest and maybe ask friends or family for little things that they could help with. I'm sure they want to help too...good luck!!
