  • Can you take benadryl while pregnant?
  • I toss and turn multiple times a night. The pillow only sort of helps. I carry all of my stress in my upper left shoulder, so when I get up, I do stretches for my back (primarily just bending over and touching ground and slowly getting back up) and for the shoulder nerve. It's tough!

  • Can you take benadryl while pregnant?
I take benadryl a few times a week when I really need sleep. I also take Natural Calm some nights. It really helps.

  • I've been having a lot of trouble.  I used to be able to wake up in the middle of the night and fall right back asleep.  Now, when I wake up, I can't get back to sleep at all.  Unfortunately, I haven't found any good remedies.  But, you are not alone :D

  • I used to sleep like a rock all night long... now I wake up about twice during the night because I'm uncomfortable...usually because I need to pee... luckily I fall back to sleep immediately afterward.

  • I am up to pee 2-4 times a night. Most times I can go back to sleep but last night ended up in a 2.5 hour fbing session because I couldn't fall back to sleep.  I have a feeling it is just going to get worse. :(

I've had a cold for the past two weeks and the only way I can sleep at night is Benadryl.  I take it nightly.  My Dr. says it's perfectly fine.

  • Benadryl when I'm super stuffy has helped me get a night of peaceful sleep, and I've gone back to using ear plugs (will obviously have to go one LO is born) to keep DH's snoring out.

  • I sleep like crap.

But. When I sleep, I SLEEP. For example last night I slept on a heater pad (back is killing me) and ended up waking up to burns on my hips. Like blisters from being in the same position on the heater too long. And I slept right through it. Wtf?!

So yeah, turning that down tonight.
  • I've been waking up up to 5 times a night to pee!!! Ughhhh sooo fustrating bc I'm sleeping soo comfortable!
So my mom adviced me to not drink anything 2 hrs before going to bed. I listened, and I sleep like a baby with my body pillow. I just hug it with my legs, tuck it under my belly, w my arm under it.. And it feels wonderful.. I do turn couple times a a night, but nothing uncomfortable.. Used to have hip pain and back pain, but I guess I found my way around it :)
  • I have been waking up almost every hour each night that I don't take Benadryl. If I take the Benadryl around 9 then I have slept for multiple hours and only wake up to pee once or twice a night (which was my normal sleeping pattern before being pg), and I'm not a zombie when I wake up. If I take the Benadryl later than that its zombie time for this drowsy non-morning person over here!

  • I just kind of deal with it lol.

Between peeing, night sweats and LO kicking me awake...well it's just something I'm dealing with (mostly with naps)

    Sleep? whats that?

    This!
I don't sleep. I toss and turn and DH snores like an apache helicopter so once I'm up, I'm up. I have to take Benadryl in order to get anything over two hours.

  • Doc said I can take up to 100 mg of benadryl safely. 50 seems to work for now.
