Concerned about daylight saving time switch

My LO wakes between 6-6:30am everyday, including weekends.  If we are falling back, then that means he will be waking up at 5-5:30am then??  I want to start pushing his bedtime and wake up time forward but that's hard to do on a daycare schedule!

Anyone else concerned??

Re: Concerned about daylight saving time switch

  • I have the opposite problem Emma doesn't go to bed until 9/10 and wakes up at 830. I'm kind of hoping it pushes her whole schedule back and hour.

  • I'm nervous too. Lo has been getting up at 5:30 and I'm fighting to get him to stay down to 6am. Ds1 usually took 2 days to adjust hoping for the same with lo.

  • I'm actually looking forward to it. DS has been waking up later and pushing his Naps later too. Would love to get back on an earlier schedule!

I'm slightly terrified. But we got through it the last two times, so hopefully it won't be as bad as I think. Because as it is, Henry wakes up at 5:30 in the morning :-S

  • Ds1 is 3 years old and it has never been an issue for him.

I think at most we'll up bedtime routine by 30 minutes but I'll likely forget... Lol
