What are you getting your 9 yr old Girl for Christmas?

DD has no idea what she wants for Christmas besides clothes from Justice. Santa is bringing her an iPad mini, but thats all I can think of! Help me out ladies, please?

  • Are you looking for more big or small items? A lot more money or a little?
Jen - Mom to two December 12 babies Nathaniel 12/12/06 and Addison 12/12/08
  • A little of both. She needs another big item which iam willing to spend about $50 on. The smaller items between $5-20.

    DS, born 8/25/04 -- 7th grade
  • DS is 11, but we have had the same problem with him since he was around 8 or 9 (at least with girls they always want clothes, lol).

Are there any concerts, shows, special events etc. that she likes in the area around Christmas?  DS is a big basketball fan so we got tickets for when his favorite team was in town around Christmas.  It was a big hit.  We got them at a discount site so we spent about $60 for 3 tickets.

I don't know how you feel about "make-up" but my niece is around that age and she likes lip gloss and nail polish.  The stores always have little kits with that stuff in it around Christmas.  I took my niece on a "aunt and niece date" and we did pedicures for her birthday.  She loved that.

  • I came here to ask the same question! My DD is 9 and what do you give the child who has everything?? I was thinking the Disney Infinity and a Rainbow loom for the rubber band bracelets but that's all I could think of. She got a tablet last year, she's not in to American Girl like I hoped she would be so all that junk has gone to waste. I feel stuck lol!!
