Thankful Tuesday

Let's hear something positive!

Re: Thankful Tuesday

  • I feel opposite of the gripes I read on here most often and it makes me realize how blessed I am.

My IL's are fine and we get along pretty well.
My mom agrees and backs me up on my parenting style.
My DH is a huge help with LO and has made a huge effort to understand/deal with my pp hormonal craziness.
My baby is pretty easy: good sleeper, nurser & happy when awake
We are financially secure in this tough economy.

    Life is good :)

  • Oh and I forgot to include this.
  • I am simply thankful my children and being able to spend time with them. I am thankful they are healthy ( minus the cold dd brought home from a sleepover)!
  • I'm really thankful for the maternity leave we get in Canada. I can't imagine leaving her now and returning to work. I don't know how you ladies are doing it.

  • I am thankful for my supportive husband. Every time I've had a breakdown in the last 3 months (which has been just about every day), he has done everything he can to try and make it better. I am also thankful that even though baby's naps have sucked, he is sleeping so much better at night. Last night it was only one wake-up, which is such an improvement.

Love yours! I could've written it word for word :)

  • I'm so thankful as I sit here drinking my pumpkin coffee with G on my lap and my puppy curled up beside me. I took a major leap leaving a FT job to take a PT job and am grateful it is working out financially so far.

I'm thankful we moved back to my hometown and live near my parents. They have been invaluable as we start our new family.

  • I'm thankful for morning baby smiles/laughs/cuddles. They're my favorite.
I love this too! Especially when we take her out of her swaddle...she stretches her arms real big and gets the cutest smile.

  • I'm also thankful LO has been nursing again. It broke my heart to see his reaction to nursing over the weekend and the 2 bottles I had to give him. We're still not completely back yet but so much better that I'm already thankful for. Also you ladies who are supportive and give great advice if you have it.

I'm also always so thankful for DH. He is an AMAZING father AND husband. He does so much for the both of us never with any complaints. He went to a men's retreat this past weekend and honestly I don't know how I would do this 24/7 without him. Huge kudos to you ladies who are single, or have DH's that are gone for extended periods of time.

I guess that also leaves me thankful for my awesome mother who is always there to help, never gives unsolicited advice or asks first if she does, supports me 100% in our parenting decisions and never fails to let is know how much she loves us and how proud of us she is.

Man I could go on for days with thanks. God has truly blessed me and my family. All the credit and thanks goes to Him really

  • Life is good.

I'm thankful that Charlie is such a great sleeper, and overall a very happy and chill baby. He's made this transition really easy for us. I'm also thankful for the more and more frequent grins, especially in the bathtub. It's so cute and melts my heart.

I'm thankful for DH who has been much better about helping during the middle of the night. He also washes my pump parts and bottles for me each evening so that everything is ready to go in the morning when I'm heading into work.

I'm thankful for my mother who has been so helpful and is taking care of Charlie during the day. She's brought him out to work (hour round trip) just so I can see him on my super long days.

Last night was bitterly cold here, and I'm thankful for a roof over my head, food in the fridge, and a warm bed at night.

  • With everything else going on, I'm super thankful to have spent the last 5 days visiting my family. I don't want to go home tomorrow. Seeing all the BSC MILs on here really makes me thankful that mine is awesome and we get along really well.

  • So beyond thankful for DH today. I had a hard night with LO and then we woke up to an overflowing toilet and a tub filling with water every time our neighbors flushed. DH cleaned it all, and did the laundry, and washed the dishes. I think he knew I was at my wits end and just stepped up. So thankful.
  • I'm thankful for all of the craziness in our schedule these coming weeks that make life what it is: a big beautiful mess :)
    Married DH <3 : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat)
DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18
FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!

  • I know it wed now but I'm thankful for lo and all the amazing people that have helped my family over the last year. After losing our home to superstorm sandy we had no place to live and no belongings. Complete strangers helped us get back on our feet and I am able to look back on it and realize how lucky we are.
