Leggings?

This is really random but out shopping yesterday I was looking for some nice leggings and couldn't find any. I have maternity ones that I love but don't fit now and all my non pregnancy ones are either work out style or really meant to be worn under a dress, not as pants under a tunic. I WFH so id like a pair or two that are comfy but still nice I can go out for lunch/shopping in too (I have a bunch of really cute maternity shirts that would make great tunics now) TIA

Lol @shantxtell. I condone leggings as long as they aren't see-through and your butt is covered by a long shirt/sweater or dress

Yes I know but they look cute under a tunic with boots or ballet flats and are comfy and easy to wash after DS spits up all over them. I work from home so I'm not going out on the town, just to go grocery shopping/post office etc.

ETA- I wear them "as pants" also. My butt/crotch are covered and these are not see through. They are awesome. You will love them under tunics etc. I am also wearing my old maternity shirts as tunics- why not?

No butt definitely covered. I guess I should of meant like thicker material vs the kind I have which is basically heavy tights without feet. I've seen some that are pretty thick so they aren't see through

No definitely saw some wide loads trying to pass off see through leggings as real pants yesterday while shopping. I promise I will not commit a fashion don't in them. Thanks for the rec from Nordstrom, they are currently on their way!

Old navy, they're pretty cheap and have a variety of colors and patterns. I live in leggings. Only with a sweater, shirt, or wrap long enough to cover the butt and the front

Did she just cut the feet off nylons? Why would anyone wear that.

I was very anti leggings until I got pregnant. It seems a better alternative to sweat/yoga pants. I still wear them but the rule is vag and butt must be covered and my shirt must be closer to my knees then it is to my underbutt. I still feel a little shame knowing that I wear the same type of pants I did when I was 8.

I have these and I love them. They are leggings but the material is a very, very thick knit. I usually wouldn't pay that much for leggings but I needed something for work after having the baby that sucked everything in and these did the trick. Worth every penny.
