We got snow now and it's cold. LO's nursery is cold and I find she is waking up more now in the night because of it. I have found her hands really cold. I already have her in a fleece sleeper, fleece sleep sack and the heat is at 73. Our bedroom is hot but hers not as much. We leave her door open too and ours too.
Any suggestions for keeping LO warm without blankets?

Re: Cold nursery in winter time.
We have been running a space heater for about 20 mins before she goes to sleep. Also she has unfortunately been waking up twice per night so I usually run it then as well. I think the noise helps her fall asleep too.
We have a digital clock that displays room temp which has been really helpful.
Just a thought since you are dressing her so warm, have you checked her core to see if she might be too warm? Even if her hands are cold she might be too warm. I could definitely be wrong but I'd think with two layers of fleece and keeping your house above 70 she'd be plenty warm.
It makes me uncomfortable that her hands are cold too but I don't want to overheat her.
I am always worried about my LO being cold to.
My pediatrician said that the house she be around 75 (which was in the summer) so I have been putting the heat on about 73. She sleeps in a onzee, cotton or terry footie pj's and cotton sleep sack and I also put light socks on her. If I were doing a fleece sleeper I wouldn't use the sleep sack.
