I'm 7dpo in our natural cycle. So just chugging along in the 2ww.

QOTW: We went to two parties last night.. and since one was a themed party - tv / movie characters - DH wanted us to dress up as the Bundy's. It was pretty funny.

I am just waiting around for AF... I tested 10, 11, and 12dpo and all BFN's. I usually have a 14 day LP and am hoping I get at least that this cycle because I am going to FL for 4 days in 2 weeks and am hoping I can still make it back for IUI #4... If not I am sure we will just do a medicated TI cycle.

QOTD: We went to a halloween party last night. Had like 2 beers and am feeling it today! I was a pumpkin and DH was the Karate kid... last minute costumes.

It's been awhile since I updated, I have just been in a really weird place lately.

I am 1 dpo in one of our last natural cycles.....we are hopeful but I'm trying to stay realistic at the same time. My best friend is recently pregnant so I am working on getting used to that in my own head too.

GTKY: We actually haven't been to any Halloween parties this year and we are not dressing up either.

I mentioned in my intro that I was going to wait til January to see an RE (I've been doing the testing through my OB) but more and more, I think I want to see one sooner. The OB hasn't even given me an official diagnosis even though I've done all the testing.

4.  What treatments are you doing?
Just Metformin right now. OB was pushing Clomid A LOT and he finally got the hint that I'm not giving in bc he backed off. DH just had his 2nd SA and went from 17 to 132 so I think he's off the hook now! His motility was low normal so we're gonna try CoQ 10.

QOTW: I am going to be a zebra, lol. It's going to be cuter than it sounds, I swear.

I stopped BCP on Friday and have FET baseline and start ganirelix and estrogen patches (vivelle) tomorrow. Just under three weeks now until FET of our six day blast.

QOTW: We did not go to any Halloween parties, and normally Thursday night I work and DH goes to his bowling league. But I was able to get someone to take my shift at work so I can hand out candy (I really get into halloween so was upset when I thought I'd miss out on that). I usually throw on a simple costume to answer the door (witches hat, or devil horns, last year I had a mardi gras mask on). But after the kids are done trick or treating (8pm) I'll head off to join DH at the bowling alley for a few drinks so I'll enjoy the day.

QOTW: We went to one on Friday (where 2/3 of the people brought their babies, most were under 1 year - we had to leave early). We are also going to one this coming Saturday. We went/are going as Sheldon and Amy (Shamy) from The Big Bang Theory.

So our original beta was 28 and I was so scared that it was going to be a CP that I didn't even let myself get excited about it. But we got our 2nd beta results and it went up to 79! So I am officially excited and hope it was just a late implanter!

FX that all you ladies get your BFPs and thank you for all the support and wisdom!

QOTW- no I was lame sauce and stayed in with the DH and pups. I was too much of a nervous wreck lol.

IVF#1 was a giant, colossal flop. We transferred two 7-cell pre-embryos on day three, and the remaining four were slow growers. They did not make it to freeze, and had a negative beta on Tuesday. We are going through a natural cycle now to allow the doctors time to analyze our case and come up with a new plan, and let our broken hearts heal.

QOTW: no Halloween parties, but I teach in an elementary school. I have to come up with something for the parade, but am not really feeling the spirit right now. I'll probably be a runner or a bandit or something.

I'm on day 12 of Menopur injects. After over-responding last time around, we were playing it safe and only doing 75u of menopur opposed to the 150 I was on last time. After 10 days of virtually no response, I've been given the go ahead to double my dose for the next 3 days. Hoping my follies get the message. It's been an incredibly frustrating 10 days...want to get this show on the road! QOTW: No parties for us but I'm an elementary teacher, so I have to dress up on Thursday. Still coming up with something!

It seems like a ton has happened since last check-in. We ended up with 5 embryos and one of them made it to blast and was transferred on day 5. None of the others made it to blast for freeze on day 6. So right now all of our hopes are pinned on one little blast.

I am currently 4dp5dt and my trigger shot is pretty much out. My test this morning had only the faintest ghost of a line, so I am confident that any line I might see in the next few days will be a BFP and not the trigger. My beta is scheduled for Thursday, Halloween.

QOTW: I was supposed to go to a Halloween party Friday, but DH didn't want me to go because they were having a band and DH was afraid that the loud music would hurt our chances of this cycle working. I tried to tell him that I think he is being a little crazy, but it worked out ok. I have been pretty wiped out the last few days (I am blaming PIO + progesterone supps for zapping my energy) and went to bed early. I am dressing up for work and plan on being a black cat. It's an excuse to wear black yoga pants to work.

We have started BCP's for our first IVF and got our protocol and schedule this week. Our mock transfer and SIS are scheduled for this Friday on 11/1. I will take my last BCP on 11/2, have baseline ultrasound on 11/6, start meds (ganirelex, menopur, bravelle) 11/7, and ER will be Nov 15-18.

We are doing ICSI and genetic testing, and because of my DOR we will likely not transfer any this cycle. We hope to have more than one child so we are trying to figure out the right number of chromosomally normal embryos that takes. Difficult, no? If we get there with one cycle, we will transfer, but if not we will do a second ER in January.

QOTW: No parties and no dressing up. In the past, I've just worn my dance clothes to be a ballerina while I hand out candy.

CD15 of a natural cycle. Not much going on over here. QOTW: Our standing Halloween tradition is to put a bucket of candy on the porch and go stuff ourselves with Indian food...yum. Most years when we get back home there is still some candy in the bowl. My thoughts are that if the first kid dumps all the candy into his bag that's on him and his karma!

My 4th IUI (and 1st IUI using Follistim) did not work. This one was tough since I developed OHSS and spent a few days in pain. My stomach doesn't feel back to normal and i'm taking birth control pills for 2 weeks. I guess i'm officially benched =(

We had our first IUI Saturday morning (last minute switch from our original plan of TI). Now we're just waiting until 11/9 so we can test. I've been testing out my trigger though so I can test earlier if I so desire.

QOTW: Going (or did you go) to any Halloween parties? What did you dress up as? We didn't go to any parties this year and won't be this week either, which makes me so sad. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday and we usually have a party every year, but our house is a construction zone which would not be safe for drunk people.

We are on CD6. I have been on Letrozole 5mg since CD3 and will take it for one more day. I go in on Friday for a check to see when I will trigger and get more information.

QOTW: Not doing anything. Had a cookout today for my DH 30th birthday and got to see our friends. I am staying away from liquor and caffeine right now too. Trying to do anything to help out this cycle that I can.

I'm currently in the 2WW of our first medicated cycle (Letrozole +TI), AGAIN. I was told on 10/15 I had O'd either 10/13 or 10/14, went back in for b/w on 10/18, they said to come back the following Friday (10/25). I heard nothing until the b/w and u/s on 10/25 where they said it actually didn't look like I had O'd on 10/14 like they thought, it was more like 10/24. So basically even with a shit ton of monitoring early on, they "confirmed" O and stopped monitoring me about 10 day too early. So in our first medicated/monitored cycle, we have the worst shot (as in no shot) that we've had in 16 months. I'm pissed and have a lot of questions for my next appt.

My update is that I'm one day away from IVF retrieval (gulp!) after our super-O IUI had to be converted. I have 5 "nice looking" follies according to my RE, although there are some underdogs who may still develop. If all goes well, we will be waiting 5 days for an eSET transfer on Sunday. Super exciting and scary at the same time!

QOTW: We have been stuck 3.5 hours from home for the past week due to intensive monitoring and preparing for IVF so it looks like we'll miss all the parties. We usually have a work party over our 15 min coffee break on Halloween, with a potluck, so I should be able to attend that. Unfortunately, with everything up in the air, I thought I would miss Halloween and now that I won't, I don't have a costume!!!

I'm just waiting for my body to adjust to the metformin. I'm now taking 1500 a day. My doctor also prescribed progesterone last week to help me get AF. I'm on CD150 today.

Hello! We had our IUI Friday, so we'll see how it goes. They don't measure the follies the day-of IUI, but two days before I had about 2 good ones, although a tad small (16mm). But since I had 6 other follies close behind, and they didn't want to cancel, we did the IUI Friday instead of Saturday. I wasn't too excited about the results for a super-O, after the bad side effects I had and the money spent - the RE was hoping to get 4 or maybe 5 at the very most. But having 2 is better than cancelling. If this doesn't work, it's on to IVF.

No parties this weekend. I usually have a few friends over halloween night and we watch scary movies. We don't get trick-or-treaters, since I'm surrounded by old people. But we did get a dog this weekend, so that was exciting.

Hi everyone. Hugs to everyone. I'm finally PUPO! We transferred two day 5 morulas. It was a tough road with all the freezing and thawing of eggs and sperm,to finally get to ICSI. These two lil ones are the fighters out of 9 eggs which 6 fertilized these are the only two that kept on going. Beta is next Wednesday. DH feels strongly about beta or bust, so no POAS for us.

Cycle #13. I am still on my period and it is not a fun one! Our 1st RE appointment is next Wednesday right after I should O. I'm anxious to hear what the Dr is going to say, but ready to get the show on the road and get a plan.
We had a Halloween party last Saturday, and I was Spider girl. We have another party to go to this week as well. I love dressing up!

@1983lindseyI am still getting super faint lines on wondfos. The lines are so light that I can't trust them yet. I don't know if it's the trigger still (today is 13 days past trigger) or maybe an evap (I didn't time the test so it could have been after the 5 minute mark, but not by much). I did dip a wondfo in water to make sure that it isn't a bad batch and got a snow white negative. So it is safe to say my bathroom faucet is not pregnant.

I have two FRERs so I think if I still get a faint line tomorrow on a wondfo, I will definitely be dipping a FRER.

@1983lindsey - We were going on a weekend getaway - which would have either been right at the time for the IUI, or at least monitoring. So we skipped the drugs this month. And since I'm not feeling too good about this cycle, we'll be right back to it next month!
