I have come to hate all pets. I wish my dogs would run away. My mom's cats get gross hair on everything.

I really don't want my dogs to run away. Sometimes.

I am a dog person but we currently have a 14 year old semi incontinent rat terrier. The next pet won't be until kiddo is old enough to help out and be kind. I secretly hope she chooses a cat or a guinea pig.

Dog. I have one. He is old and arthritic but he is my favorite creature.
Cats like me. My cousins cats will lay all up on me. I have no preference for cats.

I am such a cat person. I would have way too many if I could but DH limits me to just the one. We also have a dog who I absolutely love. I love all cats and all things cat whereas I love my dog but not really anybody else's.

I love my cats. Occasionally they will do jerky things, poop outside the box or get themselves trapped in DD's room after we put her to bed, but mostly are they good kitties, and I love them. They have had a hard time adjusting to the baby and are doing well, so I'm happy about that.

I prefer dogs, but a cat that thinks it's a dog is great to. My neighbor's cat is like that, super cuddly and playful, they never lock their door so sometimes we borrow him (we live next door in an apartment and yes, they know I do this).

MH, on the other hand, keeps saying we need another kitten.

MH told me recently that if I wanted to we could get another kitten. I was all yessssssssss... and than two seconds later I was like to hell with having kittens with an infant.

Dog. But we have no animals, and plan to keep it that way for a LONG time. We're both allergic to cats, and I can't stand them anyway. Dogs are okay, and we'll likely get one one day when the kids beg for one. My parents have a dog and I like her.

I'm not really an animal person, and neither is DH. Maybe I'll get the fish aquarium out of storage and actually put fish in it for the first time ever...

I love dogs. Cats are alright, but dogs are way better, imo. I just can't imagine a cat putting up with Zoe's aggressive cuddling style, like my dog does.

@Monkeybabe DS will literally rip the hair out of our boy cat and he will just lay the there. I question his intelligence daily. But super tolerant tho'

I used to be a cat person, but my dog chased my cat away. We have been a dog family since. I still like cats, but I think if I had to choose one over the other, I would now choose a dog. Dogs are so much cuddlier.

Crazy work schedule, so we have 4 cats. They don't need to go outside, be walked or bathed (for the most part). Less maintenance is good.

MH wants a Rottie...I said no. Both work 11 hr days so no fair to puppy imo.

My cat goes to frequent visits to my parents for one week sleepovers every other month. Yes we are craZy!

My cat is an asshole. But I love him. And he is a good snuggler.

I miss my dog and I'm excited to get another one.

Used to be a dog lover but after living with two BSC pets-( a dog and a cat), im no longer a pet person.

I now daydream about what life will be like when they are gone.
