DS has all of his teeth besides 3 molars. He cut a top molar randomly at 14 months. I think he's getting the other molars now though. He's been grouchy and his cheeks are red. So far the eye teeth were the worst. Sorry....
Yes! He's getting both right now along with all 4 eye teeth. Been a very cranky kid because of it. And his 5mo brother is teething so we are going through teething tablets and pain medicine very quickly around here nowadays.
During his 15 month appt, pedi said that all 4 molars were swollen. Sure enough, his teething personality showed up not too long after. He was grouchy, in pain, and pretty much had his whole hand in his mouth at all times.
The canines. But I'm a bit confused because there are molars that come in around 15 months and molars that come in at 2 years. Is everyone else talking about the first set of molars? Because my little bundle of joy has those already and one 2 year molar. I think he is cutting the other three now. So, he has 17 now and should be getting only three more.
I'm starting to wonder if AJ will ever get hers. We're still at 6 teeth, no molars.
I thought we just had 6 too, we stalled there for over 6 months. At our late 15 month appointment last week I caught a glimpse of molars when he screamed during his shots. I felt bad that I didn't know he was cutting molars, he was chewing on everything last week but not too fussy. Dr. mentioned that when they get teeth is medically meaningless and varies widely.
DS cut two bottom molars at the beginning of October. He was a cranky mess and would up getting a cold on top of it. Now he's cutting his top molars, and so far he's been pretty okay with it. We even ditched the pacifier this week (which he only used in his crib) before I realized he was cutting more teeth. I was afraid it would screw up his sleep so I tried to do it in a teething break, but he actually hasn't seemed to miss it regardless.
We've got 8 in front and one top and bottom first molar on one side. It cracks me up when she eats because you can see her moving the food to the side with the molars, haha! I just noticed the second molar the other day so that explains a little bit of the crankiness... we had our first full fledged, throw yourself on the floor tantrum the other day (thankfully at home... yikes!)
