So after LO turns 6 months I'm going to start replacing a few feedings with formula. She's been EBF except for the day she came home from the hospital she had 1 bottle and 1 other time about a month ago when I was gone and didn't have any frozen BM and DH had to feed her. Those 2 times she had similac advanced, and appeared to have no reactions.
My question is, is it okay to switch brands? The reason is, I have a bunch of enfamil samples, and am considering using those to see if she will take it. A third option is to give away those enfamil samples and try out a cheaper brand like the target brand to see if she'll take it. I called the pedi's office and they weren't much help, just said yep those brands are fine and watch for fussiness. What do you think?
Re: Another formula question
Originally my pediatrician told me to get whatever was on sale. She said that they are all about the same. That said we did end up having to switch brands a few times because of constipation and other issues.
